WinDVD Creator 2, No audio on home DVD Player

Hi, I'm having a problem creating DVDs from home videos (shot with a Sony Digital Camcorder) using WinDVD Creator 2 that came bundled with an HP Media Center PC.

I can import the video, edit the DVD and burn without incident. The resulting DVDs play fine in my computer (both the HP and others, including a Mac), but when I attempt to play them in home DVD players (several different ones, all with the same result) the picture is fine but there is no sound. This problem never occurs when watching these DVDs on a computer. I have tried both DVD+R and DVD-R with the same results, but I know my home players are compatible with both as I have created several DVDs from TV shows using WinDVD creator without incident.

Please help!
