I have two Sony DVD+/-R drives in my computer. I know DVD Shrink allows you to open another Shrink program while you have one running, but I've never tried setting them up to run at the same time. Can I run one copy of DVD Shrink going to burn on my 1st DVD drive and run another simultaneously to burn on the other drive? It would probably really slow down the system, but would it hurt the quality of the recordings or burns to do such? I usually only run DVD Shrink when I'll be away from the computer for a few hours, so speed is not as important as productivity, as I find my HD getting full and if I can only run Shrink on occassion, I'd like to be able to run two files to DVDs at a time? Anybody out there try it?

You can try it and let us know what happens.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

You'll need a lot of free hard disc space to do two at a time. I don't have any idea if it can be done. You said you were short of HD space.

I have done just about everything you can do with DVD Shrink (except try to sell it). When you run two instances of DVD Shrink, the qualities on both sets of DVD files won't be affected at all. It's unnecessary and will hog your system's resources. Plus, you'll get faster shrinkage (my own term now) if you just wait until one set of DVD files is done to move on to the next set.

Try MultiShrink, It allows you to to do batch processing with Shrink, one after the other.
