im a newb....so i only knoe a little.......but i want to knoe whats that best video type for downloading shows season from the internet....like XviD, SVCD , AVI, DivX ,.......i want to knoe this because sometimes i download the season and nothing shows up.....or just that audio with no video and i hate that......please help me on this one

well DivX and XviD are AVI files, they are just two different types of codecs used. Both are decent quality, it all depends on the quality and bitrate the video was encoded with. SVCD and VCD files are mpeg format, and you should only use those if you plan to burn them to a video CD.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:
