So you haven't deselected any subtitle streams in DVD Shrink? Have you enabled subtitles on your DVD player via your remote control?

I just tried DVDFAB and extracted the movie only and still no subtitles.

Iam talking about the subtitles that only appear when alien talk is going on like Jabba the Hut talking

see if Nero Recode works

No need to keep reripping, the problem is with the transcoding process not the rip.

In DVD Shrink go to Edit->Preferences under the sublisting of "user preferences" make sure that the box that reads Hide audio and subpicture streams of insignificant size is left unticked.

its unchecked

I used DVD dycrypter and the subtitles were gone :(

Seems the subtitles at a faster speed than stock = gone IE if Iam doing a 2X fast foward the subtitles go away too even using the orig DVD.

guess I can cross my fingers the orig dvd lasts along time.

I found this thread at Digital Digest:

You may want to try CloneDVD or try Nero Recode with "All Languages" selected. Shrink does not let you do that.

still running into no forced subtitles :(

going to try DVDclone see if that works.

could it be something with my computer not letting it copy the subtitles

heck might just pay someone 10.00 to ship me DVD-R copies of the series that has the subtitles. Iam getting frustrated.

updated AnyDVD and used DVDclone and subtitles are working.

Did a straight copy all and took forever almost an hour total but results were worth it.

Thanks for all the help
