Hi guys. I'm something of a 'DVD Shrink' novice. Also, I've recently had computer problems, so feel like I've lost all continuity with this forum where I last posted about mid-June. On June 18, apropos a question of mine about backing up selected items from a commercial disc, 'Locoeng' suggested (inter alia) that I might use Full Disc mode and 'insert still images in the parts you don't want'. (Btw, I use 'DVD Shrink' in combination with the decrypter 'AnyDVD'.)

I believe I created a .png still image for just that purpose. (It's somewhere on my hard drive.) My question is: please, how do I do the inserting?

Currently I want to backup a disc (one of two) featuring an alternate version of John Ford's MY DARLING CLEMENTINE plus a documentary about that alternate version which is on the same disc. I DON'T want a gallery of stills images from the disc, nor any of the other usual stuff (like a warning against pirating of DVDs).

All directions appreciated, the more detailed the better!

To insert an image, full disc mode.
Highlight the title on the left you want to replace with your pix.

Change the Compression Settings menu from Automatic to Still Image.

Click the Browse button.

Use the "Open" browser to find your image. Click Open to select.

The slected title is now replaced with your image.

Your welcome. With Shrink, just go in there and start looking around. Press the buttons and see what they do. Most of it is pretty simple and it does a reasonably good job.
