Can't Load Iso's on Devhook 0.45

Heres the story -
I was successfully able to downgrade form 2.50 to 1.50 today. I installed Devhook 0.45 Ulimate installer by chaoszero. I also downloaded and put metal gear acid iso in the iso folder. Heres the thing. When I try to load the iso it wont work. As soon as I press start, the screen goes blank, and after 15 secs or so the power light goes out. I restart and nothing.... I've tried this both with the sample umd and without it. Any suggestions?

Hit O to cancel the autorun and use these settings.
UMD SELECT - iso you wanna play
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.xx --> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222
BOOT SELECT - reboot xmb
and leave other where it is.

Thank You SOOOO very Much it worked! Would you happen to have a solution of GBA emu for the psp? I downloaded it, put the folders but it freezes right before the game should load. I'm not sure what to do with the scr folder so I just put it in the PSP/Game folder?

No problem at all you're most welcome. As for the GBA emu I havent the slightest clue. The only console I emu on my psp is the SNES.

I think its called PSPSnes_TYL. I love super mario world all versions and super mario kart. Um Aladdin is kinda fun. Any of the donkey kong country's.

Thanks again :D I remeber playing adventure island for snes when i was i think 7 years old, AWSOME game gonna look for it. But again thanks alot!

Ya I actually do.
How do I turn that into an iso? When I unrared it thats what I got any ideas?

You will need WinRAR. Right click and hit extract to. If extract to doesnt show up then right click and hit open or open with. Then point it to WinRAR. WinRAR will open up and then hit extract. Hope that helps.

I had WinRAR, I just didn't go about it the right way. thanks to your right clicking method I found out all I had to do was set it to open with WinRAR ! =D!

my psp running on 1.5 fw and i have daxter umd.how am i goin to play that since it require v2.6 at least.i've search everywhere plus im not familiar with devhook,so,if someone can please help me,that would be great.thanks in advance.

Devhook it's a iso/firmware emulation for higher games that we use to play PSP games.It emulates psp 2.** firmware on your 1.5 PSP.
Download it from psp-hacks.com
Then let us know if you got the game to work.

I´m a new with these things and I would like to play these ISO-files from memorycard. How big memorycard does it have to be? 2Gt?
My firmware is currently 2.00.
How do I start these games from memorycard? I need simple advice ´cause I´m from Finland and my english isn´t too good.

Ok,i will make it simple:
1-you have to downgrade to 1.5 version if you wanna load games from the memory stick
Downgrade steps:
1-Download this files:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/downloads/MPHDowngrader.zip
http://shockzone.free.fr/PSP/Tool/EBOOT_1.50.zip
2-connect your PSP to your computer via USB. On your memory stick, create a folder called UPDATE inside /PSP/GAME/ and place the EBOOT.PBP file from the 1.50 update inside this UPDATE folder.
3- Disconnect your PSP from your computer and plug in the AC adapter.
4-Navigate to Photo then Memory Stick via the PSP?s menu system and start scrolling down through your photos until you reach the overflow.tif picture.

After downgrading tell me.

hey guys,
I have the same problem. Just got my PSP and i'm having trouble with Devhook. I've downloaded and installed Ultimate DevHook .45 Installer and used the settings but everytime i want to start an iso game, it freezes!
what can i do? Help!! :)
it was originally 2.6 and downgraded it to 1.5
can someone help me.

Are you using 222/111 mhz?
Try using devhook 0.46.
