I have a Sony DVDirect ( works Great), copied my VHS homemovies to DVD, But I did it in Memorex blanks, as I just learned memorex is not good... It freezes on some of the copies on my DVD Player. I am going to buy tonight the Verbatim or any better type of DVD+R Blanks. The question is Do I have to copy it again ( from the video tape)...or can I copy it direct from my PC using Nero?

if you have the movies already saved to file on your pc, you can burn them with Nero.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear, They were copied from VHS Tape by Sony DVDirect to the cheap memorex DVD's, I want to know if I can copy from the memorex DVD to the high grade DVD's using Nero...? Or do I have to start over with the Higher grade DVD's all over? :(
Thanks for your FAST Answer

I would start over. Next time, save a copy on your hard drive.

agreed with - nasavin -, first, never use trash to store treasure, only turns to trash, second, when in doubt, always make backups to pc.

Wait if your pc will read it all the way through and not stop before it's done the file is a file you can then burn it to a new disc ( Verbatim DVD-R ) I have done this 100's of times so you don't have to reburn from vhs agin try it and post back sounds like you are using the wrong disc try the Verbatim you might have to try a few different ways to reburn

I have never used Nero 5 I use Nero 6 ultra but with any Nero program you can control the burn speeds before you hit the burn button look for that option or check in tools or preferences or settings look around its there if not upgrade to Nero 6
