Ok im not new to ripping dvd's and burning dvd's, but I would like to know how I can put video files I download from the internet or from my camera onto a dvd and have them play on my xbox 360 it's the only dvd player I have at the moment. I know how to convert them using Nero and have succesfully done so many times, but I would like to know if there's a way to eliminate the conversion steps it takes along time for my computer to do so.
For some reason my friend can drag and drop multiple video files consisting of different formats onto a blank dvd and have the files play perfectly on his home dvd player. He has windows media center, I just have windows xp. Is this the reason or is there something im missing about it. It's like he creates a data disc that's playable. whenever I try to create a data disc the way he does by just drag'n'drop, whenever I try to play the disc on the 360 it just says mixed cd or data disc and does not play the disc.
sorry if I posted this in the wrong topic, didn't know where it should go. so mod's if you want move to appropriate forum.
