I recently brought 4 games from a guy for my ps2 (ford vs chevy,winning eleven, street v3, and driver: parallel lines). I was told by the guy that i can program my ps2 to play these games with out a mod chip...but i dont know how. t hey worked perfect in his ps2, but they wont work in mine. Can some one please help me?

You need something to play back ups, they guy was full of bull.
You can get a modchip, buy Swap Magic, or look into getting a memory card exploit to load them.
With Swap Magic you will also need one other mod to be able to swap the discs, with a modchip you need nothing else as there is no swapping, and memory card exploits i do not know enough about to say what else might be needed.

They guy has his system modded in some way and most likely tells people that just so he can sell games and get your money, he could care less if they do not work for you once you have paid him.
