This is extremely weird...
I dubbed Frasier Season 7 Disc 1 this morning. The first episode to pop up in the backup analysis window is "The Dog That Rocks the Cradle". Early this evening, I did Disc 2, and the analysis mode started playing the same footage it ran on Disc 1. Now I just started disc 3 and what pops up, the same thing "The Dog That Rocks the Cradle". I checked the final burned DVDs (1 & 2 (number 3 is still running)), and they turned out to be the correct DVDs when completed. The Dog that Rocks the Cradle appears on DVD 1 but not 2, so all is well, I suppose.

I'm just wondering why it would keep running the first disc through the analysis but then burn the other disc? I deleted the disc 1 and 2 ripped files before running 3, so I don't know where the heck it can even be pulling the disc 1 stuff from.

Any ideas?

Hello.

I'm not sure what's causing what you're describing but DVD Shrink stores the analysis files in this path:

c:\ > Documents and Settings > All Users > Application Data > DVD Shrink

Delete the analysis files inside that folder and see if that takes care of the problem.

Are you sure that that first disc's episode doesn't appear on Disc 2 as a bonus/extras feature?

Does not appear to be an extra on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th disc - all of which it is appearing on. I even rebooted the computer between discs 3 and 4 in case it was lodged in the memory somehow. I'll try a completely different series tonight to see what happens. Maybe the core data is so similar the system can't tell the difference between them on the analysis mode, so it repeats the first instance?

Ok, I tried Lost In Space instead. No Frasier residue. I wonder if another Lost in Space will be the same...
