I instaled a DMS 4 pro in a v7, started it, and got the ps2 menu, everything good until here.
When updating the chip to version 0.6, something went bad, and after 10 minutes, the ps2 was yet trying to program (attempting 10234...)and not stoping to try.
I turned it off when it was doing it, and after that all that I got was a black screen everytime I tried to turn it on.
After a few adventures I managed to program the flash with the official bios (doesnīt accept backups).
Now...tried to change bios to toxic bios and get the message:
"No DMS hardware found".
Itīs kinda stupid thing, because if it accepts a cdr with bios and can read the cd, the hardware is there!
If I insert again the disc with the bios for homebrew, it lets me always do the update.
Only not with toxic bios.
Tried with a better cd, and nothing.
Does somebody know whatīs going on?

yes, you want TOxicOS V0.41 which you can get at their official site. If the page doesn't come up just try it later as it happens to me from time to time. http://www.teamtoxic.com.cn/
The just unzip the download and burn the cue file to a CD and stick that in the PS2 and reset the machine so it loads it.

Already tried everything, and didnīt get anywhere!
Now, I canīt even reset the console pressing the Reset button 3 times, all I can get is a black screen.
Soldered and unsoldered it 3 times, changed ground for a thicker and shorter wire, and tension wire too, avoided cross wires, and nothing.
Already mailed the store who sold it to me , and they say , they change it for another one.
Another chalenge is awaiting me......
Another thing i remember:
The controller that I was using had a little problem, that I discovered a little ago. The left joystick, sometimes blocks itself on the position "UP". Should something be relationed with this?

Taking out the chip, ps2 works well

I doubt it has anything to do with the controller, but its always good to have a fully functional, non-faulty controller. And before you flash your replacement chip, get all the information you need, to avoid bumping into more touble along the way.

Ok, all is done.
I wasnīt in the mood to fry my brain, and changed it for a Matrix Infinity.
Only one attempt, and itīs working fine.
I think the word "pro" after Dms4, means problem.
Thanks guys, for trying to help me.
