hello

can someone please help!

my nokia 6230i is locked on orange and i want to go on o2.

my imei is 355040007578195
and i want to go from orange to 02

ive never tried before so it shouldnt be hardlocked

Only try the codes once and once only!!!

Please remember you only get 3-5 attempts before your mobile becomes hardlocked.

If you have already tried different codes before mine your mobile could already be hardlocked.

If it is hardlocked you will get one the following messages Can Not Undo Restriction / Not Allowed

If you mobile is hardlocked the only way to unlock it is by taking/sending it to a professional unlocker.

Please make sure the information you give is correct before typing in the codes.

Here is your code: #pw+024933647211345+7#

If the mobile gives no response/no message then do the following: Insert a non accepted sim, press the undo button, a box should appear saying enter restriction code, enter the code given and press ok


Remove sim first,power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked!

This mobile the 6230/i sometimes does require a non accepted sim in the phone. Follow the instructions below. :)


1. Insert a non accepted sim, most times it will show "Phone Restricted"
2. Press the UNDO option
3. You should see a box that says enter restriction code.
4. Enter the code given and then press (OK)
