Hi, Is there a free download software out there that can compile pictures and put them like a slideshow and burn it onto a DVD-R. Thank you.

You can try PowerPoint2DVD its a nifty lil program although not free.

Type in "slide show software" you'll only get 53,300,00 hits, top ones have free dls.

If you got Nero just use Nero Vision Express you can compile your slideshow, with music, and then burn it to DVD. PPT2DVD is if you want to do it in Powerpoint. The program is 100 bucks, but there is a trial only you will have a watermark in your output.
