I hope I put this topic in the right place, I couldn't find a better place to put it so if this is the wrong place sorry.

Anyone know where I can buy a premodded psone? My ps2 is having problems playing many ps1 backups so I decided to just get a modded psone. However many sites don't sell them anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

that's not something you'd want to screw up, craig. if DrThunder's uncomfortable with something he's never done before and doesn't want to risk having to buy another psone (of which, fuctional ones are starting to get rarer), then leave it be.

Thats the only site I found that has premodded PSones but they want 96$.
Thats not to much but I looked on ebay and I can get a system for about 30$ and a modchip/breakerpro only cost 20$.

How ever the breaker pro would get old swaping discs every time I want to play a game and I can get a modchip that direct boots the games for the same price. Any one have any ideas or a place where I can get it cheaper?

If it comes to it I can always try to mod it myself, how ever I would prefer not to do it. If I am successful though then maybe it won't be so hard the next time around when I mod a different system.
