Okay my problem is im using avs to load my AVI files.

In my script i use nothing else other than:

avisource("D:\Completed Movies\azumi\Azumi 2003 CD3.avi")
AssumeFPS(23.976,True)
ConvertToYUY2()
LanczosResize(720,480)

That resize and yuy2 done in avs so that it takes less time to go through those other steps of making it yuy2 for better quality and so that TMPEG doesnt need to do any resize.

My TMPGEnc settings are:
Video tab:
If i set aspec ratio to 16:9 i get a resolution of 852x480
if i set aspec ratio to 4:3 i get resolution of 720x540
Im using WMPlayer classic to play it, and it says the file resoution is in fact 720x480 as inteded for it to turn out, however the wmp classic info tells me it has a video size of one of the above (852x480/720x540). Does it have to be set as 1:1 to get a display of 720x480?

its not anything wrong in my avs script either because i have loaded the AVI file directly to test out and the results of the video size is the same while saying that the file does in fact have a 720x480 as i inteded and input into it.

As for the advance tab, it does't matter much what i do in there other than specify how the source aspec ratio and video arrange method, but changing source aspec ratio did not have no effect on the output at all. Im quite puzzled on this. I don't remember my output being like this at all.

Any help and guides to get around this or a good explanation?
