I downloaded a video from my brother but the picture is really dark i was woundering what program i could use to fix the picture brightness.

PS it is not an illegal film either.

Try adjusting the contrast-brightness control on your Television

I have used Pinnacle Studio Plus to brighten video and filter out noise with audio. It has filters for diffrent problems your video might have. It isnt free but it works good.
