well recently for some reason my ps2 does not detect my network adapter and its preventing me from playin online and also when the network adapter is on the ps2 some games just dont work at all!!!!

so if u could help me with this it would be deeply apperciated!!!

Thats wierd, are you sure that the network adapter is working properly, i would recommend you test it in another system.

it sounds like you may have the problem I had, or kinda still have. I dropped my ps2, and the network adapter wasent secure, and fell out... so I had to go onto the board and find out why it wasen't working. I found that the "fuses" PS9 and PS10.. the microamps.. were blown.. and after replacing them.. my hdd worked again. But for some reason.. my adapter wont connect whatsoever though. I am trying to boot black rhino ps2 linux.. and it fails to initialize my network adapter. I have your problem.. and alittle more.
