When I use DVD Shrink to rip my movies to my hard drive they always go in a file named V for Vendetta no matter what the movie actually is. This is not really a problem for me because the movie is always the correct one that I am trying to burn but I was just wondering why they are always showing up in the file that I mentioned.

It sounds like you are not changing the folder name when you are backing up a new movie.


When you hit backup, there is a box that has the name of the folder where the movie will go to. Simply type the name of the new movie in there. If you type nothing it will stay the same. Ala V for Vendetta.

What I dont understand now is why it just started doing this. Before the file name auotmatically changed according to what movie I was backing up??

Like I said before...this is not a major problem; I am just curious as to why.

That I couldn't tell you... but mine did the same thing a while back. Just remember to change it each time and you're good to go.

Some DVDs are not encoded with the name for the disk so Shrink will use the last name it read. When you put a disk in open My Computer and see if the name change on the drive.
