Problem with copying firmware

I hooked up my XBOX 360's dvd drive to my motherboard's sata port and I typed
mtkflash r /m backup.bin

and it said couldn't find drive

I typed

mtkflash r /m backup.bin2 (since I was hooked up to port# 2 on my sata)

and it started to dump and then gave me an error message

Is this how I need to type the command? I used http://www.clevermod.com/index.php?article=10 as my guide.

Any help would be nice. Thanks

do mtkflash.exe r /sata /m backup.bin

and do not turn your xbox on until you are at the command prompt

I just tried again with

mtkflash.exe r/sata/m backup.bin

and I get

Port: fc00, Master/Slave: a0

Flash Type: "SST(SST39SF020)"

ERR: fail to open input file!

So I tried again and I got

Port: fc00, Master/Slave: a0

and then it waits for me to type something so I tried to type 1 for master and nothing works. The only key that will work is Esc and it says "user break"

So I am stuck again. Has anyone had this problem or know what to do? thanks

ok, now the problem is with your mtk.. you need it specially edited for your current hardware set up... go to a mtkflash thread, and find out what you need to email me for me to sucessfully edit.. i'll pm you my email
