every time i copy a dvd...it freezes around chpt. 13....

every time i copy a dvd it freezes and gets distorted around chapter 13...ive been using my burner for about a 8 months and it just started happening recently. im using AnyDVD and clone dvd 2. i uninstalled and reinstalled the program but nothing seems to work...thanks

You need to give more information.
What program was used for burning? Nero? ImgBurn?
What type of media was used?
What was your burning speed?
Do you have programs running in the background?
How much free memory do you have?
What type of burner do you have?

your problem is usualy caused by poor blank media what brand of media are you using? stay away from Memorex

Stay away from Memorex. I've learned the hard way just recently. That media doesn't work in all players. It works for a while then conks out. Verbatim is king. Use Verbatim.

Same movie try a different movie and see if you can get all the way through if so it could be the disc

It seems you r having problem b'coz of bad media.Have you tried using a different media.Give it try n m pretty much sure you will get rid of the problem.Try burning at a slower speed.

those guys gave you alot of excellent possib.if switching to a good media does'nt solve ur prob, also consider ur hd may have been hit w/ something malisious. this thread may help to get ur machine clean.
