how can I store the file on a DVD? everytime I try it says to big

how big is the file? you may be able to adjust the settings in WinRAR to compress it more depending on what type of file it is.

Try to build and burn the file with ImgBurn. It should solve your problems.

why don't you just rerar it? and also what does this have to do with shrink? also you could save it as data, i asume it is a video file right?
