Diddy Kong and King K. Rool just has to be in the game because there has to be more Donkey Kong characters! Plus some additional kongs like Chunky or Funky Kong.
I know that Metaknight is in but if King DeDeDe made it, that would be awesome.

I think theres only a few good additions. i dont think metaknight or wario (without waliuigi) is a good idea. Meta knight because hes not really that popular neither is ness for that matter the only new characters i think they should put in ssbb are snake,pit(i think his character will be interesting),zero suit samus,Isaac from Fire Emblem,Replace young link with the one from wind waker,and Diddy Kong...
Im probably forgetting some. oh yeah sonic and knuckles, and Toad.

I'm not sure that Sonic, Knuckles, Tails or any other characters from the Sonic series is going to be in the game because their not originally created from Nintendo.
In my opinion, I really like the Kirby characters and Kirby series so I always want more kirby characters added to SSBB.
Plus some new Donkey Kong Characters.
One thing i agree with ZeldaFan is that Ness isn't very that popular and I don't think that many people play the EarthBound games. And of course we need to add more people from the Starfox and Fire Emblem series. And maybe some new Pokemon. I heard in other forums that the Pokemon Meowth is going to be a newcomer as well.
But in Super Smash Bros. Melee, I think the least popluar characters were Mr. Game and Watch and Ice Climbers. These characters are rather old but it would still be nice to have them in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
I think what most people want is to have all the characters from SSBM to be in SSBB because they say, "more the characters, the better" The only exceptional characters they want replaced is Pichu into Raichu.

Seeing that Solid Snake is in the game, then is a chance we may see Sonic in the game although I wouldn't bet on it.

Solid Snake was added to the game because the creator of Metal Gear Solid begged the people to put Snake in Super Smash Bros. Melee but since the game was almost finished, they couldn't add him in so now he's in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. If it wasn't for the Metal gear creator, Solid Snake probably wouldn't be in the game.

also, all of you probably know this already, but hideo kojima is designing snakes map so I wonder what it will be like. Since theres game and watch in it, I think ROB would be cool if they want another retro character.

Since we have lots of discussion about the new characters in Brawl, how about we talk about the new stages are gonna be in the game.
I was thinking to have a stage from the Paper Mario series if they do put in Paper Mario as a character. A stage like Boggly Woods or the Shadow Palace would be pretty sweet.
I already saw one screenshot with a stage from Metal Gear too.

yes...Giga Bowser might be an option as a character but if you've seen him in SSBM, he's a way to big character and a really cheap guy to use because it would take him until about 350-500% to take him out once and he has a HUGE recovery move AND his attacks are extremely strong.
Ok...back to the stages...I think there is a high posibility that Banjo and Kazooie are gonna be in and if they are, the stage "Witchy Witchy World" would be awesome.

Sigh....I don't wanna repeat this again but I'll say it ONE more time...
Those other characters I've explained such as Toad, Shy Guys, and a guy from animal crossing....I said "what attacks would they have?" I'm gonna have to say that to the Piranna Plant as well.
I think it's a low possibility that Piranna Plant is going to be in the game but if he is...I cant think of even ONE move that character would do. Since it doesn't have legs or arms (unless your refering to the boss piranna plant in Super Mario Sunshine) so uh...yeah....
All I've seen a piranna plant do in the Mario games are pop out of the pipes and attack you if u hit them.....that doesn't sound very effective...

they really need to expand on the donkey kong universe with king k. rool diddy kong and maybe even dixie and add some more levels
any rareware games (except donkey kong) will not appear in ssbb because they were bought out by microsoft so banjo-kazooie is a no and conker too (they have new games on xbox) which i think is crap
the ssb series wont incorporate characters usig real life weapons so dante is a no snakes moves had to be completely altered to fit ino the game
and they definatly need something like sonic tails knuckles and shadow to bring more depth into the game
but still geno from mario rpg would be the best possible character to add

Yes...u see from the Mario Series, you see Mario, Luigi, Doctor Mario, Peach, Bowser, and Yoshi plus Wario. That is alot of characters from the mario series. Now we need some characters from the Donkey Kong series and the Kirby Series and the Starfox series and perhaps the Fire Emblem series and EarthBound series.
And about Metroid games...Samus is (i think) the only character u get to control (other than Zero-suit samus) in all the metroid game series so uh.....I don't think any more characters from those games will be added...
Hmm.....we got 4 pokemon in SSBM..maybe one more?
And 4 characters from the Legend of Zelda series...
1 from the F-Zero series...
And i think thats it...other than ice climbers and mr. game and watch.

Sorry if I sounded like I was having a go at you, puffteam.
I wasn't thinking of buying the Wii until I heard that you don't use the Wii-mote for every game. Now I'm really looking forward to this game! :)

It's ok....the thing i'm concerned about is the price of the Wii!
I hope it's not too expensive...my friend said it's gonna cost around 300 bucks....not sure though....

Well I live in the UK and it will probably be £250 here, so I'd say $400 for the US.

Nintendo said that wii's price will not be over $250. So dont worry you can buy one of the other consoles and still afford to get a wii ;) or get a wii and still afford to get one of the others. Either way it's all good for wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
