I am trying to burn an AVI to a dvd. I am new at this, but thought I had it down. Anyways I have a high definiton AVI file that when I play the file in window media player 11 it is choppy and the sound is off, but if I play the file in VLC media player it is perfect.

When I burn to dvd using Nero vision 4, the dvd plays in my standalone player the same way it does in wmp11, and if I try to play the dvd on my pc it will not even play.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.
