DVD shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Failed to read file @D:\"

Copy Protection Error - The read failed because sector is encrypted

Now I havent copied DVD's for around a year or so, I'm sure I never used to get this message...

Alot has changed on the copy protection front in the last year. You have a few more choices with programs that keep DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink working or new programs all together. These are all free and easy to use.

You might also try for free 21 day trial AnyDVD which removes copy protection and has it's own built in ripper. After 21 days you will buy it since it will allow you to use the programs you were using before DRMs. Get it here: slysoft.com well worth the 35USD price.
