Hi All,

I've been using DVDFab Decrypter, DVDShrink, and Nero for a while and have not had any problems.

I updated my version of Nero (6 something), and found out that Shrink cannot burn once you install the latest update for Nero 6 Something. SO i had to roll back to the original version i purchased...

Knowing that Shrink will not get updated anymore to allow compatibility with the newer versions of Nero, i'm looking at other alternatives where i do not need to manually run 3 different programs for just one disc.

So i was looking at the DVDFab Platinum option...

For those who have it:
a) Pros and cons of using the Platinum version vs doing manually the ripping, compression and burning?
b) Any issues?
c) Do you feel it was worth the investment vs just sticking with the freebie programs?

Just want to make sure the $50+ are well worth it...

Thanks in advance!!!

Mate i would just stick with DVD Fab Decrypter Express with DVD Shrink although it does not get updated it still does all the latest movies if you regurally update your copy of AnyDVD. If AnyDVD is updated everything will work just fine. So i say use AnyDVD with DVD Shrink and CloneDVD 2 and it will work like a charm.

As far as Transcoders go, I haven't found anyhing better than Shrink and it's free. DVDFab Platnum, DVDXCopy and many other commercial software are just a waste of time and money.

If I always hear voices surrounding me, does it mean Im crazy or that I hear in Dolby 5.1?
