I just copied a DVD and accoprding to my defragmenter, I went from 89% to 84% of free space. I had the box checked to delete files on DVD Decrypter but they're still there some where. How do I find them and delete them? How do I prevent them from being saved after a Burn?

I tried restarting, CCleaner, and searched for ISO, NRG, IMG, MDS, and VTS on the hard drive, as well as a key word from the title. Nothing doing!

Help please or I will only be abvle to do about 8 movies before I have to buy a new computer...

if you cannot find them they are gone check your recycle bin if they are there empty the bin. open up my computer and move your mouse to the hard drive it will tell you how much free space you have on your computer do not go by defraging you can double check by running a search type in all videos then press enter but i think the files are gone

In Decryptor, there's a folder icon that signifies where the files are going. Same goes for Shrink when you hit 'back up.' VOBB has a similar interface. Ditto on DVDFab. In fact, all the programs have something like that. It shouldn't be a mystery.

Like it has been mentioned, I would check the recyle bin too.

No, not in Recycle bin---it just seems strange that I'd lose 4 gb just by burning a flick. If it happens again, I'll be back...if I can't track it down.

Thanks for the help, folks!

Did you use any other program besides Decrypter? Did you rip first with Decrypter and then use Shrink, in which case you will have two files. Or did you just rip with Decrypter in iso mode and then burn then you will only have one file, which will be deleted after the burn if you check the box.

I did Shrink first, then Decrypter. I had the same problem on Monday when I used Shrink first and Sonic Digital Media second---can't remember how I found the files, though! Is there a way to delete the Shrink file automatically, do you think? The box worked (I think) with decrypter, and there was no residue from Sonic when I did some stuff there only.

Thanks again for the help!

Shrink puts your file on your C: drive in the name of the movie and then if you have the box checked to delete automatically in Decrypter it will, otherwise delete it manually. Unless you have specified some other folder for your output file other than the Shrink default of C:
