I have never had a problem copying dvds until yesterday. I keep getting an error screen that says "Dvd Shrink has encountered a problem and will close now" and "key is invalid". there is no key b/c the software is free. plus, I have used system restore also and the problem still exists. Do you think there is something about the dvd I am using that makes it do that? or something else. please help me. thanks, kathy

sounds like you are using Nero for burning, post a log please.

I do use Nero Smart Start for burning cds, but only DVD Shrink and AnyDVD when copying and burning dvds.

What program is giving you the error message? DVD Shrink does not have a burn engine...it relies on autoburning with either Nero or DVD Decrypter/Imgburn.

DVD Shrink is giving me the error message with a specific dvd. It works with other dvds I am copying though.

Post a Nero log, it is doing the burning for DVD Shrink.

You can find your logs here, we only need the last one and please remove your serial number before posting:

Nero 6 history log location: Program Files>Ahead>Nero>NeroHistory.txt

Nero 7 history log location: Program Files>Nero>Nero 7>Core>NeroHistory.txt
