Well i would firstly like to start that my ps2 hasnt been working since kingdome hearts 2 came out or even before that and it makes me wanna cray when i think of it. So is ther any possible way anyone can help me fix it my emaii address is born_2_skate42@yahoo.com

Well my ps2 works some times but hasnt worked in months now. I use to wipe with some alcohol and Q-Tips. I wiped the laser with it. Then it would play for a little while then freeze then start up again. Some times it never comes back on so i turn it off and it at imes doesnt work again. my ps2 right now isnt even play when i do that so i need help. so i feel my laser isnt damaged. Also i have only had this system for a year and half and its a slimline i was told that they were defective. sO I REALLY need help and i broke my warranty trying to fix it on my own.

Im will to take any help

Could be overheating, is the fan plugged in properly on the motherboard, when the system gets too hot, it sometimes refuses to power, does the standy light stay on?
And theres no posting email addresses aloud.
