Are you using good media?

What is the Manufacture ID# of your media your using? (You can get this by placing in a blank disc and run Nero Info Tool and choose the DISC TAB, it will tell you what the Manufactures ID# is in the list)

If you get the ID# check the guide that is linked below. You should be using Class 1 media. SO if you have Class 2, 3 or 4 media then get better media.

Also try the below suggestions for a better burn.

Make sure you have your firmware updated on your DVD burrner.

Do not burn the DVD at MAX speed. Keep the burn speed at 4x

Choose the custom option when outputing a DVD and make it 4350 or 4300 so the burn dosent go to the edge of the blank media.

A bit too extreme, with such a low setting you'll experience a real quality loss if you have to compress to a DVD5, you'll only be using 80% of the blank. I use 4460, but then again I use media that is a proper match for my burner. I also will not use media that I can't burn at it's rated speed. If you have to slow the burn, ditch the media... it's not right for your burner.

I ment 4350 or 4300 my bad. I duno why I said 3500. I think it was the 350 part. LOL

Its been a while anyway since iv used a program that you have to custom set the output size.

Iv used DVD-RB for a while now. Which for that you use the SectorSize= line. So sorry for the miss information I edited the above post incase somone else reads it.
