I was wondering if anyone would be willing to guide me through the process of making a dual-layer dvd into either double-sided dvd or, into two seperate dvd's, i dont care which. Or if you had a better idea on how to go about doing this, i would appreciate it.

You need to read the guides here: http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/ If you want to do it the easy way on to either 2 discs you can get DVDXCopy, or on to one disc (movie only) DVDXCopy Xpress, but they're not free. I also use DVDShrink v2.3. I assume you have a DVD burner?

Chaddy as Discmania says, check the tutorials out, but when you do, download DVD Shrink and rip and compress at once. If you are using Nero to burn make sure it is up-to-date. Version 5.5.10.28 or higher
