i have hd advance 1.0 and 120 gig hard drive.i wanted to know if i could load hd advance 3.0 from my hard drive or update my existing hd advance.

You could install ULaunchELF onto your memory card by doing a memory card exploit, through there you can copy over the latest HDLoader from a pen drive or cd onto the hard drive using the ULaunchELF interface.

EDIT: Dont bother with HDadvance 3 get hdloader 0.8, its better and has more game compatibility. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/356589
