hi will the cdloader.elf technique still work if i just burn the file onto the same cd i want to burn the backup copy on. cheers. this is to load the backup via armax :)

It wont work, because once you eject the armax disk, the PS2 goes through the process of re-initialising the macro-vision protection system, and it checks the disk, once it doesnt check out it wont work. You will need a flash drive.

Actually you are wrong. i eventually did load up from armax media player via cd using the tape and tissue mod

I know you can load up armax media player using the tape and tissue mod, ive dont it myself, maybe i didnt understand what you meant. Did you accomplish whatever you were trying to do?
