Wow, you are right, the reason know one has thought about this yet is because people don't think about Nedendio that ofen/at all, but wow you have a point.

yeah no body pays atentions o nintendo the game cube was a bust and that new cap they making dosent look that nice to tell the truth
but i would get a gamecube just to play mario sunshine it was kinda fun lol

i wouldnt say since the new ones wont let you play homebrew and i bet it would be hell to hack em since they might be 3.0 and up pluse same graphix just slimmer wow big woop lol

Nintendo isn't too bad, but before i ligthen up a war ill stop here.
I would send in my PSP 1.5 to Sony. I want the new one. Plus we can just get the older one for less by scamming a silly person. Ive got my 8 year old cousin in mind.

i also hate nintendo i dont find single device which is usefull gameboy sp only has backlight and all the games r useless its better to buy a chinese brick game and whats the fun of the console if u cant experiment with it and gamecube is the worst thing i ever saw i just prefer sony well thats my opinion and everybody has a right to give his opinion but u should not give opinion on my opinion about the gameboy

If the new PSP is incompatable with the old one, they Sony will have to provide some good reasons for people to buy it. People will be hacked off with them for making their original PSP's redundant.
If they offer some kind of swap deal that would help them. But I think I would just keep my original one for homebrew, ISO's etc.
If the new one had anything good going for it, then just buy that one as an addition.

Well if we re-consider that many of the users of this site are around 13 years old. Its very hard for them to get a additional PSP. So what target audience are they trying to reach then?
I just think its really stupid. Nowadays you cant buy a console and not get a gurantee it will be the latest in few years. Disgrace.

I agree, which is why I think the swap deal is the most likely. That way they also get rid of all the PSP's that can run ISO's etc.
I guess they are hoping the new PSP will not have any vulnerabilities to expose. Though someone always finds a way... god bless em :)

From what I understand, You will still be able to play all PSP games that come out after the New PSP comes out, because the only diffrence between them is going to be...
a. 8GB flash memory built in
b. Slimmer
c. Built in Still/video camera
d. Lighter
e. you might be able to load your PS2 games onto your second gen PSP if you have a PS3.

easy'er said then done i mean look at how much trouble thier haveing with the 2.7/2.8 the 3.0 should be way harder since the sony people look for exploits 2

Yeah i know..but if there's someone working on the 8 gig flash memory hack for 1.50..I'm willing to wait..even for 1 yr for it.

Did you even read my first post? I stated several times that the old and New PSP will be compadable with each other. The one thing that 'might' mess things up would be adding a second joystick to it. I have a pretty go feeling that they will to, because Sony if planing on being able to rip you PS2 games and play them of the 8GB of flash memory. I do think that sony will have game makers not make the right Joystick useable if they do decide to pust it on the new PSP.
In my opinion the oly reason Sony mightput the right joystick on the second gen PSP is so you can play PS2 games on the PSP.

No but the hackers who are "having Trouble" hacking the 2.7/8 have a hard time. I mean they do one and sony brings out another firmware. They then get more requests for the new firmware. Its a never ending battle.

wow, well 2 things i am excited about here, 2 analog sticks. This will make for suchhhh better controls intead of holding down different buttons to sub for the analog stick thats not there.
Also i am sooooo happy that future games and UMDs will run on it, i am already broke enough as it is so i dont need to spend anymore then i need 2.
over all i am really looking forward to the realese this month!

Um... 2 Joysticks ins't comfimed yet. The only reason Sony is talking about adding a Joysick is so you can play your PS2 games on your PSP if you have a PS3. And there won't be special UMD's realsed for the Secong gen PSP, they will stay the same.
