Before I start looking/learning...are there programs that can tweak the audio in an AVI file?...(or any file for that matter)...to get it to sync better with the video?

Any recommendations??

there is a handy little tool called AVI fix 2.0 b1 that comes with the k-lite codec pack.
never used it before,so dont know how good it is.
its a very basic little tol,so dont expect to much, but it may just do the job
i think it only works in secs, and not mili-secs tho

Myth0logy - Sorry so slow getting back...here's the link:

I'm not having much luck so far. I actually ended up trying an app that was discussed in comments on the same page. I can get two individual AVI files in sync using YAAI, but every time I join them together the sound gets out of sync again??

Anyway....I'm about to follow the orignal suggestions which involves stripping out the audio fiddling with it, then adding it back to the video. I was trying to find an easier way but I'm giving up on that now. Or perhaps I'll try hursty's suggestion first.

Thanks much all...
