Hi,
I have big problem with my PS2.It's a SCPH75001 console.I have Swapmagic with Coder i.e Swapmagic 3.8,with Magic keys.I made a backup copy of the game Pirates of Carribeans,which is 4.35GB big on a Sony DVD-R at 4x speed.I used Alcohol 120% to make the image & burn the image on the DVD.
First of all I have 2 problems.
1st problem is that Iam unable to properly lock my PS2 when i install Pin A.The B Pin is fine.Again I have trouble installing C pin.
Second problem is that,after I somehow managed to get the pins in their order,I put Swapmagic in my PS2 & waited for Boot Screen.When it displayed that message,i pushed the eject button on my PS2.It gave a scrolling message to 'Insert a bugger TOC disc'.I inserted the original DVD of the game "Devil may cry", which is of 4.37 GB big.I waited for 5 minutes in the hope that i would get to see other scroll text asking me to replace my higher TOC disc with my backup.But even after waiting so long,I never saw any messages asking me to do that.It still was asking me to Insert a higher TOC disc.I got frustrated,took the original Devil may Cry dvd out & replaced it with my backup copy of Pirates ans Carribeans,but did not work.Instead,my PS2 asked me insert a correct DVD.
Please tell me how to get rid of these 2 problems as soon as possible.Thank you.
I dont think you need a bigger toc disk for pirates of the caribbean, i didnt need it. Anyway, if that message keeps coming up, its because the tools probably move and come of the sensor switch, the tools make the ps2 think that the lid is closed, when swapping the swap magic disk for a backup, you should not remove the tools, when the disk stops spinning, simply remove SM and insert your backup, press X to play your backup, some games require special boot, by pressing square.
Mine is a Slim PS2.I did not have any problem whatsoever with my DVD while burning.I wonder what's wrong.When I install Magic Key 3, the disc doesn't spin.Can anyone help me that? Also iam confused about the installation of the 3rd key.Help please.Thanks.
I guess there is a problem installing that key.The game DVD wouldn't spin.Moreover even Key 1 is no good anymore.When i install Key 1,Iam unable to close the lid of my Slim PS2.Any help please? Thanks.
