Would some one be able to help me unlock my Nokia 5140i

Country Uk
Provider Vodaphone

Only try the code once and once only!!!

Please remember you only get 3-5 attempts before your mobile becomes hardlocked.

If you have already tried different codes before mine your mobile could already be hardlocked.

If it is hardlocked you will get one the following messages Can Not Undo Restriction / Not Allowed

If you mobile is hardlocked the only way to unlock it is by taking/sending it to a professional unlocker.

Please make sure the information you give is correct before typing in the code.

Here is your code: #pw+224725443257741+7#

If the mobile gives no response/no message then do the following: Insert a non accepted sim, press the undo button, a box should appear saying enter restriction code, enter the code given and press ok


Remove sim first,power on the phone.
After the phone boots up, press #
Press * 3 times fast for (p)
Press * 4 times fast for (w)
Press * 2 times fast for (+)
Verify code before pressing the last #.
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked!

Tried it - says cannot undo the restriction - brand new phone - tried three times no luck. Any suggestions?

In the instructions it said try once and once only!

Did you get "cannot undo restriction" after the first code?

First time - No code error - so redid as thought I had entered code incorrectly! Third try was cannot undo restriction. Sorry have I hardlocked it?

Your mobile is know hardlocked only a professional unlocker can do it for you now.

Mandy,

To save yourself some money as the mobile is new take it back to where you bought it and get a new one. Just make up some excuse, but do not say you tried unlocking it.

Then come back here and we will unlock it for you!

Did that today so - where do I start? Haven't taken it out of the box yet - think I can mange that bit on my own.....
