Eh... how do I get the 2.60 fw from the ultimate installer to work??
I've tryed to install it as the installer does the job for you, but whe I load it in the menu for fw's and start it goes black and turns off the psp. help!!!

download he insatller: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/673 and isnatll the first option! then when u laod it up on your psp under FIRMWARE hit 2.6 or 2.71 and press start! you now have an emulated 2.71 (or 2.6 but 2.71 does everything 2.6 does and more)

I did all of it already. The problem is after i press start. A black screen appears and the psp shuts down. Any sugestion of why it happens?

I need help.I am new to all this and have been trying for hours to get devhook onto my psp but it wont work. I have followed all guides poss. Everytime i try to paste the files to my ms root it goes on the mem card but doesnt show. Can anyone help?????

i got 1.50
i got the devhook u told ( 0.46 )
but can i emulate other firmwares with this devhook ?
i can just emulate 2.71
i need to emulate 2.00 or 2.50 or 2.60
do i need another devhook so as to emulate these and also 2.71 ( or greater ) ??
if yes where can i get it

why do u want to emulate 2.0 or 2.6?!?! 2.71 does everything they can and more!! just stick to 2.71. if u want to emulate 2.0 + go into FIRMWARE (in devhook) and just change it simple as!

i downloaded ultimate installer
then what do i do to put naruto custom pack on?
its on it and its saids the data is corrupted i have the HEN B thing x.x any help ppl?

Thanks for the guide, but it didn't help out at all. At first I was able to get my friend's psp to play Bust a Move, then I wanted him to play Monster Hunter Freedom because I think he'll like it. After putting it in and using 0.46 it doesn't work, stops at the loading screen. I put in Burnout Legends and Breath of Fire, both of those didn't work and freeze before it loads to psp screen. I was using fw 2.71 btw. I installed 2.6 and none of the games work either. The screen turn black and then it shuts down. I tried it on my 0.41c and it worked. So I installed .45 on his and it still didn't work. Same problem with the black screen. I tried 0.40 but I couldn't find any info on how to install it, I just drag and drop. That didn't work. Ultimately, I reformated mine and install .45 and that failed, and installed .46 and it also failed.
Both psp are 1.5
I have a 2gb and my friend has a 4gb
DH settings are :
222mhz
2.71
boot to xmb
I hope this will help find the problem. If anyone with a working one could test out the games I tried or make a more thorough guide. I know it can't get anymore thorough than the ultimate installer, but it just doesn't work.

Hey, I'm sorry for double posting but I was just frustrated, and I want to apologize. For those having problems, I've just change the speed to "no change"(at the very bottom) and the games work pretty good, they are all up and going.
Thanks again for providing the links for the different devhook. keep up the good work.

hey there.. Thandakid grate tutorial. I just have one question. Supose I have installed the devhook 0.44 to play GTA (for example), but I then want to play Need for Speed Most Wanted on the 1.5 framework useing UMD emulator. Can I do that? Dose Devhook 0.44 disappear once the PSP is turned off? Or do I just have to add the UMD emulator onto the PSP root to play the other game.
Another thing. Will the CSo conversion affect the game? Will it eliminate sound or some images?

i'm kinda a noob to this, so please bear with me. Ok I have a PSP with a Firmware of 1.5 the DevHook 0.46, works but when i try playing the game, isos, it says starting, then all of a sudden my PSP sleeps I need help dude
