Ok bear with me on this one please guys, its a very newb question, however I know very little of PS2.

My younger bro went out and bought a PS2 Slim so he can play online. Now its my responsibility to get the thing working. Anyway I see there is a RJ45 (right name?) jack in the back. We are running our internet on a wireless system...is there anyway I can connect the PS2 to our excisting wireless system, I dont want it to use its own phone line.

Secondly, how much does it cost to play PS2 games online a month? Must you subscribe to each game or is there a service which allows you to play all the games which have internet multiplayer capability?

The online service is free, as long as you have a internet connection, you will have to connect to the internet from the modem, or from a main computer that the wireless router is connected to, i tried doing it from a client computer, but there was no luck, because you cant share an internet connection that is being shared at another source.

Im glad to hear the services are free. What is a good product to connect the PS2 to my wireless router. I checked ebay and found:
