was wondering if anyone knew how to connect the ps2 to a computer monitor, anyone have a tut or something that shows how to customize the vga hookups?

You will have to buy an adapter that convert the VGA unit into a Composite in port. Or you can buy a unit that converts your monitor into a TV, and you can hook the ps2 up with that, that is what i have done, and it works great, you can also connect your computer straight to it, and use the computer by just turning the unit into standby.

@lilg_06, are you saying you can play your ps2 through the pc. I have a msi tv @nywhere plus card. will it work with this or what do i need to play through the pc. very new to all this, thanks for any help. mike

You can use a converter that will convert the monitor into a TV, you can have your computer and ps2 linked upto it, so you can use it as both things. And if you have a composite or RF in-port on your pc, you can connect it directly to that, and use a program to play the ps2 on your computer screen.

thanks for the help lilg, yea i was basically looking to use both the computer and the ps2 but ill get onto lookin for an adapter, once again thanks!
