I just bought a HP Pavilion desktop pc and i did not get xp with it only on the pc hard drive i rang comet and they sead i gotta put windows xp on a disc but how if its on the hard drive?

There's a utility within the installed windows on your harddrive to make a reinstall cd/dvd, just check through your program's list under start.
