ATI 'vcr' files - Any way to convert them to an MPEG?

I have an older Ati All In Wonder that is based on one of the first Radeon cards, it is only 32 MB, but it has good capture ability.

I have saved films from Cable and converted them to mpg and then made DVD out of them, you have to have a lot of free space: At least 30 Gig for all the conversion ops to work right.

What I got are several ATI "VCR" file extentions that are about 300MB each, total is about 3 gig, these are "On Demand Video" leftovers and I got them all sequenced to form a movie I intended to record, but fouled up somehow and I only have the first 20 minutes saved, the rest of the film is in the playlist though.

Is there any way I can move the VCR files to another computer, and use the ATI Library software to convert them to Mpeg? The files are "hidden" and you cannot change the attribute- But can they be copied to another machine?
