I have the newest build of vista right now and everything
seems to work fine except for the sound.

Vista installs the ac97 sound driver and says its working properly
but still i get no sound.

Volume is up and speakers are plugged in.
I even downloaded what was supposed to be a ac97 driver for vista beta 2 but this is pre rc1 could that be the problem?

I have a a7v600-x mobo and everything else works, but its awful quiet....

Any help would be appreciated

well, one thing, VISTA has many bugs that still need to be worked out. So not everything works. esspecially drivers and stuff like that.
