cac,
It did not like the blank media you are using. W/ the Lite-On I would try Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blank DVD's. Prodisc is further down the Quality scale.
You might also update to Nero Version 6.6.0.18 but go no higher as the higher version is buggy. I am on the office computer so the thread for that d/l is not at my finger tips but a search on the site should find it.

k after i read ur reply i went adn updated Nero to that u said. Then i tried again andi was able to back up a movie yayayay. I tried another and got this (note usesing the same blank media as before )

The problem will probably re-occur as you are uising these disks: Disc Manufacturer ID: PRODISC, Media Type ID: R04. The real error is this one: 3:42:38 AM #25 CDR -1106 File Writer.cpp, Line 311
Power calibration error as it stops the program as the burner is having a problems w/ the blank media
You also might have registry conflicts so I would Google for a free Registry Cleaner and see how many conflicts your registry has and then clean them out automatically
I have seen people that have a problem similiar to yours have to re-boot after each burn. It seemed to help them and it was just a suggestion.

Ya i had 80 problems when i ran the registry test and it cleaned them. Is that bad>?
also if i run then delete the error they dont delete or it only fix like 2 out of the 40 lol does this mean im screweed or has to reboot comp?

The amount of errors you had was lower than I thought. I have seen it as high as 600+ in some peoples'c computer. The trial version do take a little time. I hope this cleans it up for you

The logs are showing it is the blank media you are using. See if you can borrow a Blank Verbatim DVD from someone as that is the only way to verify this.
