Booting backups with just AR or Gameshark?

ive read just about all the threads on AR and Gameshark booting backups. but its only gotten me more confused.

here is what i have now:
scph-70001 with all the sensors blocked
ipod shuffle(can it be used as a memory stick?)

i wanted to know how to boot backups without swapmagic using AR or Gameshark. can i just have a yes or no answer regarding if i can boot backups with AR or Gameshark. and if yes can i have a thread link?

any help is greatly appreciated as i am new to this.

Lool. Ps2 exploiting is not as easy as that. You will need a proper usb as i dont think that the ipod can support the cdloader.elf files. you will need to either get magic keys or do the tape and tissue mod. But if your new to this then i wouldnt suggest it mate.
