can anyone offer any assistance with this issue. i currently use DVD Shrink along with DVD region + CSS free. i havent had issues since i downloaded either that program (DVD region) or AnyDVD. However, i am trying to "view" an older movie, and everytime i attempt to open disk in DVD Shrink, it decodes 80% and then stops. after a few seconds it gives me an error saying... "Failed to read file D:/ Data error (cyclic redundancy check). im not sure what this means and im not sure if there is any different software downloads that would help with this problem. any advice is appreciated.

crc errors are caused by the drive unable to read the disc this can be dirty or defective disc or a disc with fingerprints on it

If your using a Fat32 file system then you are being capped out around 80 percent cause of the file system. If you have it shrink the file more than what you are doing now by 20 percent I am willing to bet you will be able to burn the movie. If you ever format your computer make sure you do NTFS when you messing around with burning movies and "DVD games".

hi :)
even with fat32 you'll still be ok for a burn
once shrink has done it's job and you've got your files on hdd (i assume with decrypter) you then will find maybe 1..2..3..4 or more "100" ext' and 1 small MDS file, this MDS file has all the information needed for decrypter to burn the said movie. so select the MDS file and burn with decrypter
the error above has nothing to do with whether your system is Fat32 or NTFS
