I have been using shrink which has been working fine. But on disks that dont want to burn I've been using DVD Fab. The problem is that discs that I burn through DVD Fab don't want to play on my laptop.

Any idea why? Any suggestions?

Could be your burning setting - what do you have dvd fab set at?
May want to try taking it down a notch.

Ok when you open dvd fab at the top right click the settings icon to the left of the '?' icon. You can set the burn speed there - try 'recommended' or 'slowest'.
You could also try switching the burn engine in here from VSO to Nero Burning rom if you have Nero installed (thinking you do since Shrink uses Nero's burn engine too.)
Any option is just to use the free ripper dvdfab decrypter on the ones shrink does handle. Rip to your hard drive with that than open those files in Shrink.
