Hi, having problem with my NVDIA GeForce 5700, have hooked up a regular tv so that when I am editing my home movies I can see in the TV the right colors that are showing, etc.

Have been ubable to get the system to work for me, and the available information on the graphic card and so on does not explain anything. is to no use, where can I get some information on this.

Any help opr suggestion would be appreciated.

Right-click on the empty desktop and select Properties. Then click on the Settings tab. Then click on Advanced. Click on the GeForce tab and you'll have another menu pop up. Click on Desktop Management and follow the wizard.

Collarme, thanks for the info. I have gotten to the set up wizard but unable to set up my tv as a seperate monitor. Their is a lot of information on the Nvidia display and so far unable to get to the right tab. Would even use the monitor as a clone, if I can get that far.

Do you have the Fx 5700 or another graphic card??

I hope you find the solution to the problem. When I had a similar problem (no picture on the TV even tho' I'd configured it correctly) I found a program called TV Tool (http://tvtool.info/index_e.htm) which forced the TV to recognise the PC output. It works very well. There's quite a long trial as I remember and it's quite cheap so if you still can't get a picture after reading the user guide it might be worth considering.
