Why do you want to format it? Corrupt files or trying to make an exploit?
Be more specific...

For answers to either just serach google lol - what i did ;)

well i had some exploits on it but they don't show up on the card but i found something and i wanted to try to format a broken memory card for my friend to see if it would get it to read by the ps2

There is action replay and max memory from datel but it deletes all the data on the memory card. I think you go to the memory card and click square on it.....
