Ok guys, I have around 50 short quicktime movies. They total to under 4Gb so they could fit onto a DVD. Question is how??

What software would I use to do this??
Would I need to convert them first to mpeg 2??
Is there a batch convertor around?

I've been doing a search and TMPGEnc DVD Author has continuously come up..

I am a total newbie to this so an idiots guide to this would be much appreciated!!

Thank you in advance to all the guys who read and comment this

First, you need to convert the .mov files to mpeg. Just because the .mov files are under 4 GB means nothing.

To make sure it'll fit, you could use a DVD calculator (like DVTool) to ensure your encoding rates will fit onto a single DVD. You can run batches with most encoders.

After that, use an authoring program to make the DVD.
