Hi I have tried unlocking my phone using the advice on this forum but with no luck my phone is a 6230i imei No: 35882700780604 vodafone UK when i type unlock code in nothing happens when i put in a different sim it says enter unrestrict code

That IMEI is no good.
You might want to pass the code you got by me.

You will need a non Vodafone sim.
Note:If nothing happens. Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim. Before you do this, make sure the sim you use does NOT have a security PIN CODE. If it does, reset the security code to default 12345 with the original phone. Insert a non accepted SIM and turn it on. You will see "phone restricted", select the UNDO option,then enter the code in the restriction box and press ENTER.
